Isla bonita
Menorca in summer. Olivia, when she was young, had lost all comprehension of the world. She had just ended an affair in order to start a real relationship, but it was over before she knew it. Nuria, her sculptor mother, consoles her and offers practical advice. A new wind blows over the island when retired advertisement filmmaker Fernando moves into their guesthouse. Fernando attempts to seduce Nuria while Olivia sees him as a father figure. ISLA BONITA is a charming, delightfully cheerful comedy full of misunderstandings – and a charming ode to the idyllic holiday island of Menorca.
