Bea is an accomplished architect who lives in Barcelona (Catalonia, northeastern Spain) with her boyfriend and boss, Vctor, the CEO of a major corporation. The famous TV reporter and anchorwoman Rebecca Ramos, Victor's personal romantic fantasy, enters at the pub during a night celebration of an important contract secured to build a tower designed by Bea. Bea arranges a meeting between Vctor and Rebecca without considering the ramifications of her actions owing to the alcohol she consumed. When she wakes up the next day, Vctor proposes to Bea, and she accepts; however, when she gets to work, Bea learns about a videotape in which Vctor and Rebecca make love in a car, which is broadcast on all television stations. Bea smacks Victor and smashes her design in front of all of the CEOs during a full meeting, and she is fired.
