Reverend David Poe and his wife, a psychiatrist, leave their frantic existence in New York for a beautiful life in the country with their twin children, Jack and Emily, who are now 10 years old and can run, play, and dream. David has decided to start filming all of the significant holidays and events that his family celebrates as a way to record the transition to this new way of life. To the dismay of the Poes, their home movies reveal an escalating malice and wickedness within their children, and by Valentine's Day, the children's sadism has morphed into a blood hunger for human prey.
