While she adores Christmas, Christine (Summer Glau), Santa's elf, wonders if there is more to life than manufacturing toys in the North Pole. When Santa receives an emergency wish from a small child in Los Angeles, he assigns Christine to deliver a holiday wake-up call to the VanCamp family, which includes mom Sara (Eva La Rue), dad Scott (Dan Gauthier), and their two children Ally (Izabela Vidovic) and Will (Mason Cook). Will Christine fail her task and be permanently returned to the North Pole, or will the VanCamps finally grasp the true spirit of Christmas?
