The extraordinary true story of Bass Reeves, the first black marshal in the Wild West, is told in this epic, action-packed Western. Following his emancipation from slavery following the American Civil War, he arrives in Arkansas in search of a position with the law. In order to prove himself, he must track down a dangerous outlaw with the assistance of a grizzled journeymen.
