Larry Abbot, the narrator of the Manhattan Mystery Theater's radio horror programs, has shown an interest in getting married to a girl he met online. In preparation for the wedding, he brings his fiancée back to the castle where he grew up among his eccentric family. In order to cure him of his neurotic speech impediment and exaggerated bursts of dread, his uncle decides to subject him to a shock therapy session with palace spirits, which is successful.
