Unlike his noisy best friend Cleatus Poole (Mitchel Musso), Pete Ivey (Jason Dolley) is often missed in the school hallways. When the costume causes an allergic reaction, Poole begs Pete to stand in for him, allowing Pete to uncover his inner star. The issue is that Poole is getting all the attention from people who believe he is the mask. Meanwhile, Pete's attempts to get noticed by pretty new girl Angela (Josie Loren) are complicated by the fact that she's also entranced with the mysterious man in the chicken suit. Finally, Pete must decide whether the risk of rejection is worth revealing his true self.
