Growing the Big One
After learning of her beloved grandfather's death, radio DJ Emma Silver (Shannen Doherty) lives a glamorous metropolitan life in Seattle. When she visits his farm in Valleyville, Washington, she discovers her grandfather has given her his land, coupled with a large amount of debt. Emma must raise the funds to stop the bank from foreclosing or risk losing her grandfather's prized land. Emma chooses to put her grandfather's precious seeds into Valleyville's annual pumpkin growing contest and produce the world's largest gourd. She can save the farm if she wins the $50,000 grand prize! Emma takes up the challenge with her neighbor Seth (Kavan Smith), but they end themselves cultivating something far more evergreen.
