Great Day in the Morning

After a card game Southerner Owen Pentecost finds himself the owner of a Denver hotel. Entailed with two women - one who came with the hotel, and one recently arrived from the East to open up a boutique - he after that has to make even extra fundamental selections when, with the beginning of the Civil War, he becomes one of a tiny minority in a strongly Unionist town.
