Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie

After a devastating world war, science has advanced to the point that humanity can choose to prolong life and relieve misery using sophisticated cybernetics. The biggest threat to civilisation is cyber terrorists who can hijack people's bodies and memories. Major Motoko Kusanagi and her elite team of special agents are called in to seek out the source of a ghost-infecting virus known as Fire-Starter. They unearth evidence of government corruption and a mysterious broker with a familiar face as they dig deeper into their inquiry. The film continues the plot of Arise's Pyrophoric Cult episode and wraps up loose ends.
