Funny Boy
An adjustment of Shyam Selvadurai's 1994 unique Funny Young boy, discovering the awakening of sexual identity by a young boy named Arjie. As political tensions rise to a boiling point between the minority Tamils and also the majority Sinhalese, a young boy matures in a society as well as family members that does not accept difference outside of societal norms. The film narrates Arjie's struggle to discover balance and self-love regardless of the absence of compassion and also understanding.
