"Fist of Dragon" narrates the narrative of Li, a young man who travels to South East Asia to help out his uncle, who has been having financial issues. Li feels out of place when she first arrives in the town because of the cultural disparities between the people who live there. When Li learns that his uncle has been suffering from a variety of troubles caused by local mobsters, he decides to stay and assist his uncle in removing them from the situation. There are many people who oppose Li's actions because they fear the triad would punish him and the entire town will be in chaos as a result of Li's actions. Furthermore, his uncle's daughter, Lily, is a member of the triad, and their relationship suffers as a result of the intense tension between the two groups.
