Geoffrey "Geoff" or "Boy" Wellum joined the RAF in May 1940 at the age of 18, becoming the youngest ever Spitfire pilot. He thought the RAF needed every man to fight the Luftwaffe. After a lot of hard work, he quickly bonds with the flying men in his squadron. It's dangerous to be in the air. Geoff's favorite things to do on the ground are drink and sports, as well as having sex with Sarah. However, over time, the deaths take a toll on his mental health, until his 18-month tour of duty is over.
