Ernest Goes to Jail
Bumbling A dishonest lawyer recognizes a likeness between Ernest P. Worrell and crime lord Mr. Nash and organizes a switch. While Ernest is sentenced to the electric chair, Nash takes over Ernest's work as a bank employee. Instead of killing Ernest, the electrocution grants him superhuman abilities, allowing him to flee the jail and stop Nash's bank robbery attempt.
