After boarding the last subway train of the night, young mental nurse Karen discovers that the train has broken down in the middle of the track. Suddenly, her nightmare begins: a mystery cult has determined that it's the end of the world and the only way to preserve the souls of the living is to murder them in cold blood. As the people around her are being slaughtered, Karen and a small band of survivors must battle a homicidal cult, paranormal forces, and their own fears of Armageddon in order to survive.
