Electoral Dysfunction

'Electoral Dysfunction' is a documentary that employs irreverent comedy to explain how voting works - and doesn't work - in the United States. Mo Rocca (a CBS News Correspondent, a panelist on NPR's 'Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!', and a former Correspondent for 'The Daily Show') hosts the film, which is structured as a road trip that begins when Mo makes an eye-opening discovery: the Constitution does not guarantee the right to vote, placing America in the company of countries such as Libya, Iran, and Indonesia. With the help of Todd Oldham, Mo investigates the battle over voter fraud and identification, searches for the Electoral College, and meets with academics and activists from across the political spectrum who provide comments on why our voting system is flawed and how it may be mended.
