When Cheng Zixin (Gao Yuan-Yuan) and her boyfriend Owen (Terence Yin) moved to Hong Kong, she ran into her ex-boyfriend while riding the bus. Owen is now married to a pregnant woman. When his wife sees Owen talking to his ex, she freaks out and tries to stop him. Quickly, Cheng gets off the bus and almost gets hit by a car. Fang (Daniel Wu) then comes to Cheng's aid. The CEO, Louis Koo, is sitting in a nearby car and watches everything that happens. Cheung Shen, the CEO of the company, is a playboy who also works in an office building next to Cheng Zixin, who is a woman. Soon, Cheung Shen sends messages to Cheng Zixin through the window of his office building to start getting to know her. There is a few weeks between when Cheng Zixin meets Fang, the drunk and worn-out man who saved her life. As it turns out, this is a top architect from Canada who's having problems with his family.
