Couple Tim and Lee have a small child together. After finding a bone and an ancient rifle in the yard, Tim's chance to remain in a luxurious house in the Hollywood Hills is put on hold. For whatever reason, Lee doesn't want Tim digging any farther into a mystery, and wants him to focus on the family taxes he promised to complete weeks ago. Over the course of a weekend, Tim and his pals investigate the mystery, while Lee looks for answers to the more fundamental concerns of marriage and parenthood.
