Devdas
Devdas is sent away by his father to better himself, but when he returns, his father does not welcome him back. Devdas and Paro are in love, but Paro belongs to a lower caste and is destined to marry an older widower. Devdas is devastated and decides to leave his home. He develops into an alcoholic womanizer after falling in love with a courtesan. Paro tries to dissuade Devdas from drinking before he self-destructs.
