Slab City is a "wild" town that can be found in the section of the Sonoran desert that is located in California. It is located in close proximity to several military bases and is populated by people who have been forced to flee the American Dream. They were of varying ages and brought with them a variety of stories, but in the end, they decided that freedom was more valuable than even the most fundamental conveniences. Rob's makeshift Internet café, which is also the only location in the neighborhood with access to electricity, is known for having "the greatest coffee in the neighborhood."
