Deathstalker
An old witch lady assigns the warrior Deathstalker the task of obtaining and uniting the three powers of creation - a chalice, an amulet, and a sword - before the evil magician Munkar steals them and uses them for evil purposes. After obtaining the sword, Deathstalker joins the other travelers on their way to the Big Tournament to determine who the strongest warrior is. The false king imprisons the true princess and plots to assassinate Deathstalker, forcing Deathstalker to fight in order to free the princess.
