Jorge is a young man, and when his father has a stroke, all of his plans for the future have to be put on hold. He has cared for his father and worked as a janitor while going to school part time for a business degree for seven years. When Natalia, the girl he had a crush on when he was younger and went to study abroad, comes back, Jorge starts to want something better. He is desperate to get a better job, but no one will hire him because he has only worked as a janitor before. Antonio, Jorge's older brother, is about to get out of jail. He is an opportunist who has never gotten along with their father. Antonio meets Paula, a beautiful young woman in jail for drug charges, at a theater workshop in prison. Paula is in trouble because she flirted with the boyfriend of another inmate.
