As a result of Flint and his pals' forced exile in the previous film's food storm. To help clean up the island, Flint accepts an invitation from his hero Chester V to join The Live Corp Company, a group comprised of some of the world's most talented inventors. Flint and his companions must return to save the world when they discover that Flint's machine still works and spawns mutant food animals like live pickles, hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, and apple pie-honors.
