Closing the Ring
Ethel Ann, who is in love with one of the young men, Teddy, is left behind when he and the other young men in his group leave for the war in the 1940s. A man named Jimmy lives in modern-day Belfast, and he is on a mission to return a ring that he discovered in the debris of an airplane that had crashed. He goes to Michigan, where the now-grown Ethel Ann lives with another man, having married someone else after Teddy was slain in the fight. Ethel Ann needs to make a decision regarding whether or not she will accompany Jimmy to meet the soldier who last saw Teddy alive.
