Barry Crimmins is one of comedy's most mysterious and important people. In CALL ME LUCKY, he tells the story of how his work in the 70s and 80s helped to make the next generation of standup comics better. Even though Crimmins was known for being rough and hard drinking, he had a hidden rage that came from his long-suppressed and horrifying abuse as a child. It came out in his comedy shows and TV shows, but it also made its way into politics.
