Duke Johnson travels to a small Southern town to bury his brother. Following the funeral, he learns that he must remain for 60 days in order for the estate to be processed. A few locals persuade Duke to reopen his late brother's nightclub, and soon the local redneck cops are threatening Duke with violence. When Duke refuses to pay the bribes they demand, the crooked cops threaten and attack him and his lady friend Aretha. Rather than taking them on himself, Duke enlists the help of an old friend, Roy. Roy brings a few friends to Bucktown, and together they bring justice to the small town. Duke relaxes his guard now that the redneck cops are out of the way. Then the situation spirals out of control once more. Finally, Duke will have to settle the score himself.
