The eagle's method of raising two chicks. The stronger is always doomed to kick the weaker out of the nest. Man has his own ways, which he frequently uses to harm those who are closest to him. Lukas is victimized by a father who has withdrawn since the death of his wife. The boy bears the weight of her death after being killed while rescuing the infant Lukas. The story of our eagle starts in the nest. The first-born chick pushes his weaker brother to the forest floor, where he will perish. But fate steps in, and Lukas discovers the chick. Lukas names the creature Abel and cares for it in secret, finding love and companionship that he does not have at home. Will Lukas find his own release into a new life when the time comes to release Abel back into the wild?
