Insignificant theme park technician Sam fantasizes about his elementary school girlfriend, Sue. With the misguided notion that only a bling ring will win him the girl of his dreams, Sam organizes the most romantic night possible to propose to his one true love. However, when super villain Oscar arrives with his own evil ring capable of destroying the city, Sam's preparations are thrown into chaos. Sam teams up with his robot super heroes to find his engagement ring and save the city after they mistake each other's rings for their own...
