Blazing Saddles
The railroad can't go through a town where everyone seems to be named Johnson. Robber baron Hedley Lemar sends his goons to make life in the town hard so that he can take their land. When the sheriff dies, the town asks the Governor for a new one. Hedley talks the Governor into giving the town the first black sheriff in the west.
