Bigfoot Country

While some believe Bigfoot is a hoax, when a group of hikers venture far into the woods after being cautioned by a guide who has encountered a Sasquatch, they choose to disregard the guide and venture off route, but the more they go into the woods, the more they realize they are not alone. It starts to get dark, and the group starts to get really scared. They end up shooting and injuring a Sasquatch by accident, though. Legend says that the Bigfoot species just wants to be left alone, but when they are threatened, they will fight back. In this case, the damage has been done and there is no going back.
