Bereavement
Martin Bristoll, a six-year-old boy from Minersville, Pennsylvania, was kidnapped from his backyard swing in 1989. Graham Sutter, a psychotic recluse, kept Martin imprisoned on his derelict pig farm, subjecting him to unspeakable horrors. His victim's screams were drowned out by the rural countryside because he was chosen at random. Martin's whereabouts have been unknown for five years, until 17-year-old Allison Miller moves in with her Uncle, Jonathan. Allison discovers something isn't quite right at the farmhouse down the road while exploring her new surroundings. Her inquisitiveness disturbs a hornet's nest of evil and despair that, once opened, can never be closed again.
