When a series of strange killings occurs around Hong Kong, two troubled cops are assigned to the case. Wang, a young maverick, and Huang, a grizzled vet who is sick up with his younger partner's recklessness often getting them into trouble. After establishing that all of the victims were previous boyfriends of promising actress Liu, the investigators are forced to play a deadly game. To catch the killer, one of them must pose as Liu's lover.
