The story revolves around a young family that recently relocated to the outskirts of the city and into a brand new apartment. The nanny they recruited for their newborn daughter was successful in gaining their trust very soon. On the other hand, the older son, Egor, claims to have witnessed a woman acting in a terrifying manner; nevertheless, his parents do not believe him. The security cameras that the father set up for his own comfort merely affirm that everything is in order. Then, one day, Egor returns home and discovers that neither the nanny nor the younger sister are anywhere to be seen. Meanwhile, the parents are in some sort of bizarre trance and have no recollection of ever having a daughter. After that, Egor and his companions set out on a quest, and when they are there, they discover that the nanny is actually an old Demon from Slavic mythology who is commonly known as Yaga.
