Atlantics
A soon-to-be-inaugurated futuristic tower towers over a Dakar neighbourhood along the Atlantic coast. Ada, a 17-year-old girl, is head over heels in love with Souleiman, a young construction worker. However, she has made a commitment to another man. Souleiman and his coworkers leave the country by sea one night, hoping for a brighter future. A fire wrecks Ada's wedding a few days later, and a mystery sickness spreads. Ada has no idea that Souleiman has returned.
