Being head over heels in love with her, he transforms her into his "muse," inspiring him not just to create again, but also to live once more. His fascination with her, on the other hand, develops into a potentially lethal addiction. In order to avoid losing Patricia, he kidnaps her and imprisons her in his attic. Police officers sweep the neighborhood in search of a trace of the missing woman, completely unaware that she has been hiding right in front of their eyes the entire time.... Patricia maintains her composure and is constantly on the lookout for a way out, but she is beginning to believe she will never be able to break free from her captivity as Kennedy's grasp on reality continues to deteriorate in a terrifying downward spiral.
