By mistake, a pair of unscrupulous cops stormed into Jimmie Rainwood's residence, believing they would uncover a major drug kingpin. An police fatally shoots Rainwood, and he is falsely implicated in the narcotics trade. According to a police informant, Rainwood is guilty of narcotics peddling.
