Amira & Sam
The two soldiers meet when Sam visits Amira's uncle, Bassam, an Iraqi interpreter for Sam in Afghanistan. Bassam and Sam have a special kinship from their time in the conflict. As an American soldier, Amira first distrusts him because her brother was killed by an American bomb during the war. Unbeknownst to Sam at the time, Charlie wants Sam to aid him with illicit hedge funds. Since her father's death, Amira lives with her uncle Bassam She sells pirated movies on the street but is caught and forced to stay with Sam. Sam and Amira fall in love during the film.
