All-American Murder

Artie Logan is the newest member of the campus community. Suddenly, he meets Tally Fuller, the most popular and attractive female student at Fairfield College, and she agrees to go on a date with him after much persuasion. However, that night she is brutally murdered by a lunatic brandishing a blowtorch, and Artie is falsely detained as a result. Other police officers object to Artie's statement, but detective P.J. Decker trusts him and offers him 24 hours to find the true perpetrator.
