Betrothed to a snob of an English nobility, Alice, who is unassuming and unique at the age of19, is astonished by the news. She sneaks away from the gathering during her engagement party to mull over whether or not she should go through with the marriage. While she is in the garden, she comes upon an unusual rabbit and trips over a hole. She finds herself in a world that is very similar to the nightmares she had when she was a child. This world is full of villainous queens and knights, bandersnatch-like creatures, and talking animals. When she first arrives in this strange and surreal place known as "Underland," she finds herself in a world that is very similar to the nightmares she had when she was a child. Alice comes to the realization that she is there for a purpose, which is to vanquish the dreadful Jabberwocky and place the legitimate monarch back on her throne.
