Aftermath
Nine strangers find themselves trapped together in a farmhouse cellar in rural Texas, searching for a happy conclusion to a story of terrible calamity and horror. The United States has hurriedly entered World War III. A young doctor named Hunter survives the nuclear attack and is thrown together by chance with a group of wounded and terrified victims, including Elizabeth, Hunter's strong-willed confidant; Brad, an antagonistic redneck jackass; and Jennifer, a barely coherent young woman suffering from severe post-traumatic stress. They fight with claustrophobia and clashing personalities as they attempt to survive the devastation of the holocaust. Hunter and his dying companions wait for government news in an improvised shelter, battling off starvation, radiation sickness, and an onslaught of terrified and dying refugees.
