A Viking Saga: The Darkest Day
The Holy Gospel of Lindisfarne-a book of tremendous beauty and power-must be delivered to the protection of the Iona monastery, while being followed by a Viking death squad hell-bent on capturing it. Hereward, a novice monk, is thrust into a violent and gory world of murder. A ferocious and talented fighter who answers his prayers and dedicates his life to guarding Hereward while he delivers the book crosses his path as he is making his way to the monastery. When they are in the middle of their journey, they are attacked by Vikings who are willing to kill in order to obtain what they want, putting Hereward and his guardian at the mercy of the Vikings.
