Effortless bakery owner Kate Holiday is swamped with cookie orders this holiday season, and when her boyfriend abruptly ends his relationship with her, any sliver of Christmas joy she had managed to salvage is snuffed out in an instant. After hanging the final ornament on the tree and retiring for the night, Kate awakens to a little piece of Christmas enchantment the next morning. Chip, a lovely soldier who may or may not be the Nutcracker Prince from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," shows up in her living room and gives her the surprise of her life!
