Polo-Dot (Penelope), as she is affectionately known, is a feisty young girl who has a natural ability to assist others, notably her ill mother. Polka-Dot meets and befriends a tough-as-nails police officer and his tracking canine, Luey, while on the lookout for a part-time position.
