A Dog Year
Jon Katz is on the verge of quitting. He's a writer suffering from writer's block; his wife has moved in with her sister because he's emotionally distant; and he rarely answers the phone. A kennel sends him a border collie that has become unruly due to abuse. Despite a series of setbacks, Jon decides to keep trying with the dog and rents a dilapidated farm house to give the dog space to run. A local handyman recommends a woman who may be able to assist Jon in training the dog. Jon reluctantly agrees to give her a chance. Is it the dog or the owner who is the problem?
