A Christmas Wish

MARTHA EVANS and her two daughters and stepson have been abandoned by their ne'er-do-well husband, who has taken all of their money and left them homeless and almost penniless. Martha leaves town in search of work and a place to stay, and she eventually finds work in a lonely rural cafe that was formerly known for its homemade root beer. However, with her car broken down and bills piling up, it appears like the Evans family would be facing a gloomy Christmas. But there are kind hearts working behind the scenes to make this Martha's happiest holiday yet— a true answer to her prayers.
