A Chinese Tall Story
A demonic tree kidnaps the young monk Taka and his three followers before taking them hostage. Taka is able to flee thanks to the magic stick of the Monkey King, and he makes the decision to go and rescue his companions. Along the way, he makes the acquaintance of a peculiar ally by the name of Meiyan, a young lady who is composed of human and monster DNA. As Taka and his new friend go on a marvelous journey, they will have to overcome a great deal of adversity and engage in fierce combat; the outcome of their journey could very well determine the destiny of humanity and the entire universe...
