Tim Edge (HARRY JARVIS), a lazy adolescent, gets more than he bargained for when he talks his two closest friends, Ella-Rae Smith and Alhaji Fofana, out of skipping a school trip. After accidentally entering the laboratory of the mad scientist "Lena Eidelhorn" (SIOBHAN REDMOND), the group finds out about Lena's most recent invention, The Vitalitron, which estimates the date and time of death for any living species. Tim, who participated in Lena's experiment without his knowledge, finds out that he only has two hours left to live before he passes away. Tim and his friends realize that time is not on their side, so they devise a bucket list that will allow them to pack a lifetime's worth of experiences into the next two hours.
