Yu-Gi-Oh! is a 1998 Toei Animation and Bandai anime based on Kazuki Takahashi's manga of the same name. TV Asahi aired the series from April 4 to October10, 1998. A 1999 anime film based on the series was released in Japan. The start is "A Cry of Thirst" by Field of View and the closing is "Even If You Break Tomorrow" by Wands. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters by Nihon Ad Systems and Konami followed in 2000. This series is called "Yu-Gi-Oh! Season Zero" outside of Japan.
