Xiaolin Showdown

Christy Hui created Xiaolin Showdown, an American animated television series that aired on Kids WB. The story follows four teenage warriors in training as they combat evil forces in a world where martial arts battles and Eastern mysticism are widespread. They accomplish this by defending Shen Gong Wu from villains who want to use him to control the world. The sitcom first aired on the WB Network's Kids' WB block in 2003 and lasted three seasons and 52 episodes. Typical episodes focus around the reveal of a specific Shen Gong Wu, with both sides rushing to find it. The episode usually comes to a head when one good and one evil character must compete for custody of the artifact in a magical combat known as a Xiaolin Showdown. On August 26, 2013, Disney XD premiered a sequel series called Xiaolin Chronicles. On September 14 of that year, it began its long-term run.
