"Witches of East End" is an adaptation of Melissa de la Cruz's best-selling novel of the same name. It follows the exploits of Joanna Beauchamp and her two adult daughters Freya and Ingrid, who are unaware that they belong to the next generation of witches in their family but who live seemingly normal lives in the modern day in the remote seaside town of East Haven on Long Island. When Freya gets engaged to a young and wealthy newcomer, a series of circumstances pushes Joanna to acknowledge to her children that they are, in reality, powerful and immortal witches.
